Sybase IQ 15 Best Practices for Database Administrators

Mark Mumy’s breakout sessions on Sybase IQ were a big hit at September’s TechWave 2011 conference in Las Vegas. So much so that an encore presentation in New York on Wednesday will summarize the best practices for database administrators implementing a Sybase IQ system.

Database ImplementationMumy’s presentation will cover indexes, sizing, configuration and more. The event starts at 9 a.m. with registration and breakfast, followed by “Sybase IQ 15 Best Practices for Database Administrators” at 9:30 a.m. and a Q&A from 11:30 until noon.

This session is an opportunity to learn from a Sybase IQ specialist with more than a decade of experience working on customer implementations. It will take place at Sybase’s midtown office on Manhattan’s Avenue of the Americas. Click here to register.

If web show / sharable PPT is available ? Thanks.

  5. Mark Mumy says:

The session was a huge hit with lots of turnout. I wanted to thank everyone for taking time out of your busy days to spend the time with me. The questions and discussions where wonderful and hopefully others walked away with more information to better help them in their IQ administration.

This session was not recorded for those that couldn’t attend. In the future, we are looking at the best way to do this and get the information to those that could not physically attend.
