Considering WorkSpace for database development

July 31, 2007 3:51 PM

Filed Under: Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) Eclipse and Open Source WorkSpace

We recently published a whitepaper titled "Evaluation and Getting Started Guide for Database Development Tooling in WorkSpace." You can access the PDF version from the bottom of this page.

The guide is really useful for those folks who would like to have some decent-depth overview of the features without having to go thru download, install, and trial to evaluate a product. Utlimately you probably would download and install to get a hands-on feel anyway but the guide will help get a solid idea of the range of functionality that exists in WorkSpace 1.7 Database Tooling. Note that the guide deals with the features that in Database Development Component only and does not cover the database features that Enterprise Modeling component of WorkSpace.
