Eclipse STP Project

Some of you may be aware that there is a new Eclipse project for SOA tools called the "Service Oriented Architecture Tools Platform Project" or STP for short. This project has many similarities with the SOA tools in Sybase WorkSpace and as a result we (Sybase) decided some time back to join the project.
Just prior to the holidays the STP project had a face to face meeting to gather the interested parties together to plan out the initial direction of the project and align everyone on that direction. Many of the interested parties are also contributors to the new SCA (Service Component Architecture Specification), so it was actually quite easy for us to decide that the base models for STP would be based on SCA - this is also highlighed in the STP Charter document that details the project.
The project has now been officially created and planning for initial contributions is in progress. I will post more details as the project progresses.
