SySAM, take 2
Recently, I was added to an internal email alias that sends out a message when support cases on ASE15 are opened. Watching these emails come and go throughout the day has been very, very interesting. One thing I've noticed is that there are a lot of SySAM and SPDC (Sybase Product Download Center) questions / issues of late. Read on for some thoughts and pointers.

Focusing on New Things
It has been a while since I've posted, and I'm sure Ian has been providing good insights into SOA design, etc to keep it interesting. The last few months has been a little busy with some personal and work stuff.

Interactions in SOA are built around web-based standards that enable the communications of messages or data exchange, such as XML, SOAP & HTTP.

Mobile Star: 10 Times Over
Sybase has been named the winner of 10 Mobile Star Awards in MobileVillage's 2007 Mobile Readers Choice Awards program.
The program honors the best companies, products, deployments and leaders in mobile and wireless technology.
In my opinion, this shows the strength of our investment and effort in the Unwired Enterprise.
Check out the winners at http://www.mobilevillage.com/awards.htm
