Replication Server 15.x….some hidden gems
Okay, so there I was, slaving away at getting some slides together for the 3rd in the series of Webcasts on RS 15.5, and I realized a couple of things….
1) There have been a TON of changes in the recent years
2) Few people were aware of it because they mistakenly think they are locked into 12.6 because still on ASE 12.5.
Yes, there are a lot of really neato changes that have made the news…and launch verbiage – you know – Bulk Insert DSI’s, HVAR/RTL, NRM thread, etc. Yep. All very important.
But there have been some behind the scenes stealthy changes (some not so minor) that have come along too. I thought I would compile my list of favorites (more…)
